>> Rachel: It’s Poetry Week, and today we’re hearing from you Chompions.

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush the molars in the way back too.

Haiku originated in Japan, and they’re often about nature -- which was an inspiration for you Chompions too!

Here are two about bugs!

Here’s Alé’s haiku:

"Floating on the breeze

Beautiful wings of spun gold

Butterfly shines bright"

And Audrey’s haiku goes like this:

Ants are very fun,

Ants have brothers and sisters,

The Queen lays the eggs.

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.

Issac and Kendall both wrote about plant life.  Here’s Isaac’s haiku:

"floating through the air

a seed pod gracefully glides

and lands on the ground"

And here’s Kendall’s haiku:

Kendall

"Spiraling colors

On the hibiscus flower

Pretty grass green leaves"

Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and brush your front teeth too.

What a WILD bunch of poems! Here’s one last haiku, from Korbin:

"Creatures are so cool

I love creatures very much

Creatures love me too. "

Couldn’t have said it better myself Korbin! Come back tonight for more poetry from you Chompions! And until then …

>> Kids: 3, 2, 1, SPIT!
