>> Rachel: Oh it’s you! Welcome back to Chompers! Your morning and night toothbrushing show.
Start brushing on the top of your mouth, and make little circles with your brush around each tooth
>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!
It’s Snack Week, and tonight we’re rhyming up a storm again … with some snack POEMS!
Listen to our poems -- and when you hear (SFX), fill in the word that RHYMES.
Here's your first poem:
Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry
These flavors make me scream
Don’t forget the chocolate sauce
Or add sprinkles to your ice (SFX) _________
>> GROUP: Ice cream!
>> Rachel: Ice Cream
Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and give your tongue a brush too!
I dream, you dream, we all dream of ice cream! But if you can’t eat ice cream, maybe the next best thing is a pacay bean (KID : HUH?)
-- PACAY trees make a delicious bean that tastes like vanilla ice cream. (SFX YUM) People even call it the ice-cream bean tree! Pacay beans sort of look like big snap peas … and pacay beans have a creamy white inside that tastes just like vanilla ice cream -- except it’s not cold.
Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and brush the molars in the way back
Here’s your next poem -- listen for the (SFX) and shout out the word that rhymes!
I want a crunchy snack
Something salty, and good with dips
Oh I’ve got a good idea!
I’ll reach for a bag of (SFX) ______
>> GROUP: Chips!
>> Rachel: Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.
Here’s your last snack poem:
This is what you reach for
When hunger pains attack
It's what this week is all about
A sweet or tasty ____
>> GROUP: SNACK
>> Rachel: Yeah SNACKS!
That’s it for Chompers tonight. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to rinse with water before you …
>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!.
