>> Rachel: Good Morning! It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show. 

Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, but don’t brush too hard

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Rachel: It’s jobs week on Chompers, and today we’re going to play a little I-Spy. That means I’ll describe someone doing a job, and you’ll have to shout out what I see. 

Here’s your first one:

 It’s early in the morning, and I hear a rooster crow (SFX cockadoodledoo). I see big, green fields, a tractor, and a person heading towards a barn with a bucket in their hands. 

Who do I spy?

>> KIDS: A Farmer! 

>> Rachel: Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and make sure to reach the molars in the way back.

Farmers, the people who plant, grow and pick our food don’t just work hard, they also have to know a lot about science. Lots of farmers study agriculture, the science behind farming that deals with the soil, the weather, the kinds of plants you grow, and so much more. Lots of farms also have animals, like cows (SFX MOO)  and chickens (SFX chicken) that farmers need to know how to take care of. 

Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth, and don’t forget your front teeth

Here’s another I-Spy: 

I see a bright red truck, full of hoses, and ladders, and racing down the street making this noise (SFX FIRETRUCK). The people riding on it are dressed in heavy equipment like helmets and boots. 

Who do I spy?

(Pause) 

>> KIDS: Firefighters!

>> Rachel: Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard. 

Firefighters are the men and women that we call when a fire gets out of control. 

But firefighters don’t just FIGHT FIRES … they also know about FIRST AID!  First aid is helping people who have gotten hurt and need help right away!  

Firefighters also have to be in great shape, because their uniforms can weigh over 100 pounds!
