>> Rachel: Good morning folks, it’s time for Chompers, your twice daily toothbrushing show.
Start brushing on the top of your mouth. Pick a side, and brush in little circles all the way around each tooth.
>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!
>> Rachel: It’s In Charge Week, and today I’m in charge of making you giggle (SFX giggle) with some silly jokes!
Here’s your first one:
Who is in charge of Dracula, Frankenstein and all the Werewolves?
>> Kid: Who?
>> Rachel: The Prime Mon-ister
(SFX RIMSHOT)
>> KID: I don’t get it!
>> Rachel: Oh, all right, I’ll explain after you switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush the molars in the back too.
Ok so monsters aren't real, so there’s no such thing as a prime mon-ister, but there is a Prime MINISTER. (HUH?) The Prime Minister is often one of the people charge of a country’s government. Some countries, like the United Kingdom, have a Prime Minister that teams up with the Queen to make big decisions. Other countries, like France, have a Prime Minister that works with the President!
Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and brush the inside, outside, and chewing side of each tooth.
Ok, this next joke should be a breeze!
Where do Nachos go to complain?
>> Kids: Where?
>> Rachel: To the (Nachos) Supreme Court!
>> KID: I don’t get it!
>> Rachel: Huh, I really thought this one would work out!
Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.
Have you ever eaten or seen nachos SUPREME? It’s a dish made of crispy tortilla chips (SFX crunch), ground beef and diced tomatoes beans, and shredded cheese, all PILED UP HIGH on top of each other. (SFX splat splat splat)
And a court is a place where you go if you need to complain about someone who broke the rules or the law. The Supreme Court is usually the most important or HIGHEST court in a country! (SFX ahhhhh)
That’s it for Chompers today, but come back tonight, for the more laughter while brushing teeth! Until then,
>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!
