Good morning! It’s time for Chompers! Your morning and night toothbrushing show!

Today we’re going to hear a STORY!

But first, start on the top of your mouth, on one side. Make sure to brush the outside of your teeth AND the inside!

BRUSH!!!!

(SFX HARP/STORY)

Like every other kid, Alex’s mom is ALWAYS reminding him to wash his hands.

But today… Alex forgot. 

THIS is where our story begins. Alex sits down at the dinner table, picks up a chicken nugget (SCARE STRINGS) and TAKES A BIG 

(CHOMP SFX)

...Bite… 

And that’s when, inside of Alex’s body, an alarm begins to sound.

(ALARM SFX) 

Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth and keep on brushing!

Walter is sort of like a superhero who works for Alex’s IMMUNE SYSTEM. He’s a LEUKOCYTE -- and when the phone rings, it’s time for him to fight off bad bacteria

WALTER: What do we got here chief? (PHONE MUMrBLES SFX) 

WALTER: Mhm. (SFX)  

WALTER: Alex didn’t wash his hands AGAIN?  Send the coordinates over-- I’ll take care of it!

Walter pulls up map of Alex’s body.  He sees a patch of red dots around Alex’s stomach.

WALTER: BINGO… looks likes we found our pathogens.

Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth. Pick a side and be sure to brush in each tooth.

Walter has a few tools that help him protect Alex’s body.  And one of them is a FEVER. Bad bacteria just can’t take the heat.  

WALTER: Time to turn up the heat.

Alex begins to feel strange. His hands get a little sweaty. His cheeks turn pink.  And he starts to feel hot.

Walter listens closely in his command center.

ALEX: (Internal/muffled voice) Mom, I don’t feel so good… 

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth! Make sure you’re reach all the way back.

Inside Alex’s body, the fever is working!

From the command center Walter sees one pathogen IS STILL in Alex’s stomach! This must be a particularly bad guy.

WALTER: Alright, tough guy… if it’s a fight you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place.
