It's Stories week, and today our story is about a really great rock band!
But first, pick a side on the top of your mouth, and start brushing in small circles all the way around each tooth.

BRUSH!
Marlowe had always wanted to be in the school rock band.
It was a REALLY GREAT BAND.
Every year the band would play at the talent show. Every year they would win.
And every year it was the same three kids. Miguel played the keyboard (KEYBOARD SFX) Mina played guitar (GUITAR SFX) and Max played the drums (DRUM SFX).
They were called M and M and M.
Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth, and don’t forget those front teeth.
M and M and M were a great team. And more than anything, Marlowe wanted to be a part of it!
Every day before the talent show, M and M and M would rehearse. And Marlowe would hang out outside their rehearsal room and listen to them play.
Max: 1-2 - 1-2-3-4!
Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth. Give your tongue a brush too.
And then one day, Marlowe worked up her courage, and walked into the rehearsal room.
Marlowe cleared her throat and called out to Miguel.
MARLOWE: (throat clear) Hey Miguel, I want to audition for your band.
MIGUEL: I don’t know Marlowe, it’s always been just the three of us.
MARLOWE: Come on, give me a chance! Let me show you what I can do … let me audition!
MIGUEL: Do you even play an instrument?
MARLOWE: I … I don’t know. I’ve never really tried.
MIGUEL: Hmmmm … we’ll have to have a band meeting about this.
Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth … but don’t brush TOO hard.
Miguel pulled Mina and Max together for a quick band meeting.
MIGUEL: What do you think guys, should we give her a try?
MINA & MAX: I mean, I guess so // Sure maybe she’s good?
MIGUEL: But what will she play?
MINA: Maybe … we could have an audition? She could try a few instruments?
Miguel turned to Marlowe:
MIGUEL: Ok Marlowe, let’s see what you’ve got.
